Townhouse Professor Tulpstraat Amsterdam. Two townhouses in the Professor Tulpstraat in Amsterdam were combined to create a single dwelling. The client formerly lived in one of the houses – renovated and altered by our office some years ago – and ran his business from the adjoining house. Following the acquisition of more adjoining properties to rehouse his office the client asked us to make proposals for the new combined dwelling.

The most important aspect of the new layout is the central repositioning of the stair, opening up many new functional and visual possibilities. The interior design and styling were carried out in collaboration with Harmen Witte Interiors and Marcel Wanders.
